GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Intended Use
Our furniture is manufactured according to the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). Use the furniture exclusively in accordance with the specified application areas to avoid injuries and property damage. Ensure that your furniture is only set up and used in general living areas. It is not suitable for wet and outdoor areas, with the exception of bathroom furniture for damp rooms. Read the assembly, use, and safety instructions carefully before using the furniture. Careful application ensures the safety of people and the product, as well as economy and a long service life. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by non-observance of the instructions or by unauthorized modifications to the product. In these cases, it also leads to the loss of warranty and guarantee claims.
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by qualified personnel. Only original spare parts from the manufacturer may be used. Do not use furniture with visible damage.
Assembly
Open the packaging carefully. When using a knife or other sharp, pointed object, product parts can be damaged. Before starting assembly, check the parts of the item for completeness and integrity using the assembly instructions. Use only original parts from the manufacturer. In case of missing or damaged parts, contact your specialist dealer. Proceed carefully with the assembly of the item and follow the assembly instructions. To avoid damage during assembly, place your furniture only on a flat, clean, and non-slip surface. Do not let your children play unsupervised with the components and packaging material. They can injure themselves, swallow small parts or, for example, suffocate with plastic material.
Misuse
The user bears sole responsibility for damages resulting from unintended use and non-observance of warnings and safety instructions. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by improper use that do not comply with the requirements defined in the GPSR. The furniture of Homes & Jones GmbH is designed only for general private living areas.
Environment and Sustainability
Our products and packaging comply with the requirements for environmentally friendly design and are recyclable in accordance with the relevant EU directives. Please do not dispose of them with household waste, but at appropriate collection points.
Warranty and Guarantee
Our warranty covers the repair or replacement of defective parts, taking into account our conditions, which have been used according to the safety and use instructions. Warranty and guarantee claims are forfeited if damage is caused by improper use or unauthorized modifications.

Upholstered furniture with manual functions
Do not reach into shear or pinch points and do not touch moving fitting parts during function adjustment. Do not use leg rests as a seating surface. Incorrect use carries the risk of injury and can cause damage to your upholstered furniture. Before each adjustment, ensure that nothing and no one is in the functional area of the upholstered furniture.
